pffffchchchchchchchhhahahaa ok

anyway, can someone suggest a build under $200-250 that has a dedicated graphics card? (not including an OS)

What would you use it for? Basic gaming?

it would literally just kind of sit there and do nothing. I am completely serious. o_o

quad core with multi radeon 6755g graphics is good, right?

decent, yeah

depends on which quad core. some architecture is better than others. an Intel quad core would generally be better than a comparable AMD quad core.

no idea about that GPU.

AMD A8 1.8 ghz.
Gpu has 1 gb vram, I'm not sure about the multi part though, Ethan says it's shared and dedicated for less power usage, but I thought it meant two of them.

yeah it uses some combination of things that I don't completely understand the specifics of so here's a link

the CPU's clock speed is fairly low but what can you expect from a laptop lol

not sure if I'd call the laptop "powerful" though. :P

wow really? ok. does that still mean you want an optical drive?

yes, going to install windows 7 in the future

linux at first lol

yes, installing linux from CD

until I can afford a copy of windows 7 lol

Dude, there is no way your slipping a quad core in there with a dedicated graphics card. The best I could configure only has a 1 core, 1 GB of RAM, and a GeForce 8400 GS.

Why is the matrix in japanese?

acording to my friend, AMD measures their speed differantly than Intel does, making it look slower. Not sure if he's right or not.

found this neat program called Super Pi

basically it tests how fast your computer can calculate however many digits of Pi. good for overclocking enthusiasts.

anyone want to download it and test with 16K, 1M, 2M, 32M? (just to compare results) - curious about everyone's PCs. (warning don't do 32M if your computer is ancient. it will take forever and you will cry.)

yeah maybe don't do 32M it's taking me a while..
