all that power wasted with tiny monitors. tsk tsk. and why 2 680s instead of 4? if you're going to go all out, may as well do it right..
Yeah, the monitors are a problem too.  I'd do bigger.  And really, you don't need more than 2 680s.  You can have 4 but really 2 is good enough for even the top games today.

this. And you dont use Xeons for a gaming machine.
You can, but most people don't because they're more expensive.

Lol 2 GTX 680s are overkill for any game. No matter what it is.

Yea, my friend uses his mothers old workstation and we recently installed a 7970 in it to replace the Quadro. He still uses the Xeon inside it however. I personally think it would be better if he had a different CPU like a 3930k or something, considering his parents spoil him way to much XD

Hey guys, jelly of my server?

Okay.. so I want to know if I should get a new graphics card. Mine is terrible but I dunno if it would be worth while to get a new one.
I can't play Deus Ex: Human Revolution very well because of it. (super choppy)

It has hindered me from playing alot of games. What do guys, what do?

The Core 2 isn't bad, but it's not the greatest.
I would seriously upgrade the GPU, that's the reason you're experiencing choppiness.
Are you willing to swap the power supply and insert hardware into your computer?

Already mentioned that it was the GPU.
If I can afford it I would probably try.

Alright, any other games you're willing to play that are (somewhat) demanding?
What's your budget?

Your CPU is going to limit what you can play. A lot of high end games like skyrim, skryim especially, absolutely eat processing power. You can upgrade your graphics card but probably up to a certain performance level without having a bottleneck in your system.

Alright, so I am picking out parts for a $300 build (Already have case, I need a recommendation on how many watts this will need; the PSU won't count to the 300). Here are the parts so far.

This isn't going to be a gaming computer, however I want to be sure it can play games like blockland at least.

If you care about color scheme then I would suggest these RAM sticks. Those red RAM sticks on that blue motherboard are going to look ugly as hell imo. If you don't care just stick with what you got.

As for the PSU, yes. 300 watts is enough. Also do you need a Optical Drive?

That's probably good. I just used a calculator and it said it recommended only 200 watts xD But since that one isn't much more expensive than the other less powerful ones than sure. That's a good choice.
