It appears hard drive prices are sinking.
I found a 500GB WD Caviar Blue this morning for about $70 before tax
and it wasn't a daily deal or a sale

BIG EDIT:
My rig is (almost) done!
-snip-
All I need to add now is a better GPU and a new CPU cooler.

Nice! :D Glad it worked out ok.

Now ever since I got my new case, my mouse has been messing up. Its a wireless Logitech and it will mess up mostly in games but sometimes when I'm not playing games. It will act as if it's turned of for a split second and turn back on.

Whenever I use Headphones with my Gaming PC, the sound only comes out of one speaker. I have checked all the settings but they are all fine. I have tested this with different Headphones and Earphones.

Why is this?

Try updating sound driver. It may be at fault.

How would I go about doing that?

Check manufacturer website.

Wireless mouse = Probably for a laptop.

Check manufacturer website.

Can I use DX Diag to see info about my Sound Card?

There should be a sound tab in dxdiag. You can also go to device manager. (Right click on my computer and click manage)

But this hasn't been happening until I put the motherboard in the new case.

I am more than certain this has nothing to do with the case. As far as I know, Logitech uses a small USB wireless adapter that you plug into your computer so your mouse can react correct? If so, try another USB slot. Or it could be that you didn't wire the USB ports of the case correctly.

Alright Ethan, need more advice...

I am preparing to configure a new computer for my friend. He has a really old, stuffty ass Dell XPS but he is quite loaded with money. Anyways, now he wants an upgrade. We talked about switching parts around in his current system but it looked like a lost cause because it was laid out so terribly. So he got his mom's permission to purchase a computer with up to a $2600 price tag. It's quite a lot and so he went to Alienware and I immediately stopped him before purchase because he was getting ripped off like crazy. I told him that I could put together a system for him with double the specs and at the same cost. So I compiled a list of parts that fitted what he wanted. I have run into a problem however. He wants a i7 3930k with a slight overclock to 4.2GHz and I know I need a aftermarket cooler because the CPU doesn't even come with one. I looked at the Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 and thought it was a good choice. Though after realizing how huge the thing was, I realized it would block some of the RAM slots. Now my friend wants 32GB of RAM. (Go figure) And I need all the slots on the motherboard. However this cooler blocks that possibility out of the water. I need a good LGA 2011 CPU cooler that does not block any RAM slots, and is NOT a liquid cooling solution. I don't want to hear him call 5 months later saying his computer has spilled inside itself. He knocks his computer around quite a bit. I need something that is durable, provides good performance, and does not cover RAM slots.

And now I am going to give my fingers a break xD
