No he wants to be able run minecraft lowest settings.
wrong part of forums to do this in.
GEN. Firebird, why would you need 16 GB of DDR3?
Are you planning to do some serious work like Video/photo editing?
don't forget the 2600k.
if you are not doing that then tune it down to a 2500k and go down to 8gb.

The monitor is over-priced.

If you went down some speed in the processor you could save.

That GFX card is funny. If you don't care about 'perfect' detail, just go for one that's $100 cheaper; isn't overclocked and 2k megs of vid memory.

The motherboard has built in sound with more channels than that card. Don't buy the card. lol

Do you really need to burn blu rays? ._.

Find a case with front/back fans at least.

A $100 keyboard...srsly?
You really could find something that isn't as "epic" as that, for like $2000.

Sound cards process sound a lot better than onboard does. Plus, they have things like virtual surround and an equalizer.

I did for $1500. Though, I got a DVD drive instead of a Blu-Ray and I didn't need to buy a monitor. Everything else was the same or better.

lololol i got bored and made him a new dream PC, order same sound card you had in mind, same keyboard and mouse.

the extra processor speed isn't needed at all.

hey guys i'm looking for a no-frills soundcard that supports 7.1

Looks like the GPU won't be supported. Pretty sure I'm wrong.

EDIT: I think you forgot to add in a processor. Unless that is some sort of processor-motherboard bundle.
Here is a good processor for your build: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116502

I'll edit with anything else I find.

for 3k all you get is 1 7950? You have no idea what you're doing

You don't know what you're dealing with...

for 3k you get a gtx 690.
the guy who made the dream computer didn't know what he was making up and completely ignored nvidia.

better.

hi

I fixed it up for you. Use the Z68 to combine the HDD and SSD for super fast speeds and space for half the price. Ethan approved. Unsure if the same technology is with the Z77. Switched out the SLI cards for a 690 and comes out to 3.1k

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bxWE

With the extra 400 get a good sound system/2nd monitor. Or upgrade the SSD if you want. Otherwise this is the best build for you so far. OR you can get tri SLI 680s, but that might be unstable with micro stuttering, etc. you choose whatever you feel suits you.

i dont need 1TB of space, or a SSD.

I really don't think so.

To my knowledge 65xx series is meant for HD videos. A x6xx is meant for low end gaming, x7xx for medium, x8xx for high end gaming, finally a x9xx denotes the best graphics cards for the series.
Okay, I'll make sure to keep that in mind

guys your picking your GPU is way to overpriced, buy like a GTX 560, or a GTX 670.
