I just installed a new motherboard on my computer, since my last one had aids. From what I can tell, the new one works fine. The issue is that the case power switch doesn't seem to work for turning it on, I had to get a screwdriver and connect the terminals to get the power running in the first place. I triple checked to make sure the power switch was connected to the correct terminals, it just doesn't seem to work right. Any ides why this might be?

I've had a very similar issue, with my optical bay.

I use a prebuilt case w/ optical bays, the bays have the eject button build alongside the case with the same input that runs the USB port section, but with my new Motherboard the USB hubs all work but the power buttons do not, I still have not found a way around this.

If you get any useful info please let me know!

The XFX Double D 6870 is the one I'd recommend the most

Newegg currently holds the best price for this video card right now at $150? Hmm, not bad.

Is there another service that has a better price?

Should cooling be fine between my GTX 560 and GTS 250 if I have a pci slot (this is including the cooler) of space between them?

It honestly depends on the rest of the case (airflow and such,) but in most cases it should be fine.

Not that I know of, sorry. There are a few on Amazon for around $140 though, if you feel like it.

Are you using your 250 for physx? I saw a video from a reviewer and using a physx card thats pretty crappy like a 250 actually slowed down his card.

dear god that website is awful

just build one man, isnt there a co.uk newegg? or something?
quite late but
no newegg is not british
why is the website awful...? i bought my computer from there

damnit my CPU fan is dieing

I have an ASUS Notebook U56E with an Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000.
So does this mean that it's integrated and I couldn't install a new video card?

It's a laptop so you wouldn't have been able to install a dedicated anyway.

It's possible with some.

Today, my computer reached the hottest temperature it has ever reached.
motherboard at 50°C and CPU at 79°C decoding Matroska video while helping the GPU (59°C) encode H.264 at the same time
I never knew my fans could get that loud
