good laptop y/n
i'd be getting it at costco for $625 rather than $669 so

These Two PSUs are on really good sales, I'm not sure which I should go for.

Go for the Corsair one.
That's really hot? My GPU idles at about that temp.
I have a semi-low-end card, GT 220, but the cooler is so badass that it idles at 29°C with 2 monitors, while at the same time performing better than my 9500 GT. My CPU typically idles at 33°C, while my motherboard is around 35°C. My board gets hotter than my processor, I know, but the thermal paste has been needing replacement and I'm contemplating getting a new heatsink for it at the same time.

It's somewhat overpriced, but I guess it's worth it.

1) why would anyone still be using vista
2) why would they try deleting the recycle bin

Look for other deals. I'm assuming you don't want a pure gaming computer but getting a brand new computer with those graphics isn't a good idea. However I don't think you can find anything better than an i5 around that price.

what are you using the computer for?

since i don't have a single clue on the battery life of the hp envy: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215662 might as well be better for the price.

Ordered computer a week ago, delivery time was meant to be 4 days, scared.

1. because i dont like 7, and can't get XP.
8 is the worst so far IMHO.
2. you can do it easily by mistake.

I would never do that, ever.

Also while we're posting links to useful things, these videos are pretty useful;

i did it once, i misclicked on Delete instead of Empty Recycling Bin and had to use that tutorial to get it back

i'd be using the HP ENVY for school and games
not only that it's better than the POS mac i have
like
twice as good
mac has a 2.1ghz core 2 duo
this has a 2.5ghz i5
it has 6gb of DDR3 RAM compared to 4gb DDR2 on my mac
envy has a 1tb HDD
mac has 150gb
so yeah
envy's better than my mac

also
the acer is too big :u

Games? That thing can't run Blockland very well at all. You'd be lucky if you got to run lowest shadows with 30 fps.
