Author Topic: The Computer Megathread  (Read 488895 times)

so as a 14 year old guy entering the job world, are there any jobs i can get?
heres my skills:
- Programming: Python, C++, TorqueScript, PHP, JavaScript, HTML (if you count it)
- I (think) i know how to build a computer, i mean how hard can it be :P I have taken a few computers apart lol
- Figuring things out
- Destroying things
- ARDUUUUIIIINOOOOOOO (Electronical Engineering)

I have a $600 budget, I'm looking into getting a higher-caliber computer that can replace my craptop... This was the first place I thought of :P
I looked at the one on the OP, but some of the parts appear to be "out of stock." Can anyone help me spec out my own computer? For gaming, it would need a semi-decent GPU (the one in my laptop is nonexistent) And at least 4GB RAM. Of course, it would also need to have room for upgrades.

Decent build. If you can go a little over i suggest a better power supply but this will work.

I just got a mechanical keyboard (Razer Black Widow) and it lights up blue and sounds like love when you type and it looks amazing and feels amazing and I can type so much faster now and HOLY SHIITTTTTTTTTT

jesus christ is this guy a prince or something? how does he have 3k for a computer

some people have jobs lmao

Going to hopefully get a IBuyPower computer from the chimera signature series. It's affordable and good I guess.

I cant stand mechanical and all those other keyboards with hugeass keys and such. I much prefer a nice, slim laptop-styled keyboard. My Logitech Illuminated Keyboard is super smexy.

can this computer run games to medium - max settings

yeah probably not due to child labor laws

- Figuring things out
A better term for this would be "Problem solving" or "brown townysis"
