500 pages of computery goodness!

Also all my stuff is finally here, building shall commence at the weekend :D

Maybe where you live (I'm guessing NZ is New Zealand) but here it's hard to find an entry level position that doesn't require a year or two of experience.

I never said it was easy. ;3

I wish i could get a job working with computers, at the moment the only thing available to me is a Bakery and possibly a job at a Vets.

My laptop is having a loving seizure so I think I am going to get a new computer if my laptop repairs cost more then 100 bucks.

I want to know how much a custom computer would cost for these specs or better specs (just the tower I have a keyboard and mouse)

6 gb ddr3 memory
Intel core i7 1.6 ghz 720QM 1st gen
ATI mobility radeon HD 5650 1gb VRAM
500 gb HDD
DVD drive

gonna say $500-$700
you'd need a better CPU, maybe a new i5, plus a better video card

Well I just wanted to see what those specs would cost in general. I would get better parts for sure but I want to make sure it will not cost too much

Hang on, are you planning on putting a Laptop CPU and Graphics processor into a desktop build?

i mean a GPU and CPU with the same power and specs

so you want core i7 with 1.7 ghz? first generation too? why?

you don't need 2 loving gtx 690s
remove one and get higher quality parts

This

I have one 670 that I built and It's stellar, two 690s would be completely pointless.

edit 500 pages you guys suck

Looks good except for your PSU - you're going to need at least 650W or more to power all of that together. 400 won't do you justice.
