yeah i used to avg 4. i think it's cause it's getting late

Okay, I'm almost settled on my plan of action, I just need to know one thing.

If I use an upgrade edition for Windows 8 on my OEM copy of Win7 will I then be able to activate said Win8 on a different computer in the future, say in the event of me needing to re-install Windows due to a harddrive failure? Because, needless to say, I will never be able to access that OEM copy of Win7 ever again as it's a Dell OEM and their machines are shipped with backup partitions on the harddrive which allow you to reinstall Windows but they do not come with installation DVD's for Windows.

This is an important question and I need an answer, without one the only thing I can do is drop £120 on a retail copy of Win7 blindly and hope that it was the smartest move

>Promised 50
>Get 1.5

I am confus.

My motherboard manual lists the different front panel USB 2.0 connectors as being inherently different in some way.
But my case guide doesn't specify on which connector to use.
-snip-

The case guide warns of damage/loss of function if the connectors don't match up. :I
It looks as if they are all the same, but just labeled 3&4, 5&6, 7&8, 9&10. It probably just wants you to match the 5+ and 5-, the Grounds and LP or whatever. I would double check online for similar problems, and also look for labels and such.

EDIT: You probably already solved it. This is what happens when you respond to things without reading the next two pages.

Yeah I solved it. I just put it in the leftmost one (i think 3&4)

My friend asked if Sony VAIO SVS13A25PBS is good. Is it good?

Processor: Intel Core i7-3520 (2.90 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.60 GHz)
Cache Memory: 4MB
Screen: 13,3" - 1600x900 LED
Graphics: Hybrid - Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Stamina Mode) and NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE GPU (Speed Mode)
Memory: 6GB DDR3 SDRAM
Hard Drive: 750GB HDD
Audio: Intel High Definition Audio
Up to 12 hours battery (5 normal, 12 with expansion)

This computer is loaded with crapware. Comes with a lot of trial programs. Guess I'll advice my friend to reinstall Windows after buying it.

My CPU stock fan is really loud. I thought it might be brushing some of the fan wires that coil around it so I moved it a bit and now it's louder.
Any advice?

Depends how much he's paying for it.

It'll be already. That graphics card isn't too great but it'll run every game you can throw at it pretty well.

The prices are all forgeted up in my country. You can buy a computer for 500$ in the US and buy the same computer for 1000$ in here. It's 1900$. (R$3,999)
