Author Topic: Yet to be released games that I'm looking forward to~  (Read 2811 times)

From what I've seen it's going to be the same stuff as Unleashed's daytime missions/Sonic Colours with two different Sonic models and a non-thirdperson perspective mode (old-sonic).

Aww, forget... I was really looked forward to actual past Sonic greatness.

I don't want to tell any stuff because all I've seen were some of the trailers and the Demo that I've played. Really, I don't know about the actual gameplay since I don't want to spoil any fun, if even.

I have Black Knight and Secret Rings both for the Wii.

I also have Sonic Advance 3 for GBA.

Advance 3 is better without a doubt.

You need to look at the new sonic as a different game.
Personally I loved Sonic and the Secret Rings.
Was is a proper Sonic game?
-No
It would have been better with new characters and such.

For me, Secret Rings' one-player left a lot to be desired.

It seems like the developers really saved their aces for multiplayer in that game.

No way.
Single player was awesome.
Multiplayer was just some party games.
Good party games.
but still

My ass will I do.
If someone sells me a burger I expect it to be filled with meat and not with vegetables.

Tons and tons of party games.

I found them to be more fun than adventure mode.

It's not a new series. It's just the developers flopping about trying to please fans, but they keep thinking they need to doing something completely new when they need to go back to square one.

Personally, I think they should have two lines of games. One for classic sonic, one for modern sonic. Modern Sonic would drop everything and go back to the Sonic Adventure-styled games, perhaps keeping some of the fun stuff we saw in Colors. Classic Sonic staying classical.
Sonic Generations seems like it would be a great path paving title for doing this, considering it is basically doing just that.

It feels like SEGA and Sonic have really rolled over and let Nintendo and Mario take over side-scrolling games.
