Haters gonna Hate.

I downloaded TF2 in an Hour and a Half.

I'm not computer smart. What is considered an average Upload speed, Download speed, and Ping.
Remember that mbps means megabits per second, not megabytes per second, which is MB/s. 8mbps = 1MB/s.
8mbps download, 1mbps upload is standard.

Ping is completely irrelevant. It is just pretty much the time it takes to communicate with a specific server, which changes for everyone because nobody uses the same ISP and lives in the same house.

uJelly?

What if i said the only way i can reach up there is if i had a top of the line computer? This is a laptop but my desktop is the only computer that manages to reach it up there.

> less than 50 miles

no stuff its like 2 miles down the street to grand rapids

Go figure, the only good ISPs are in/close to Toronto.
Looking back, this is the highest speed I've ever really gotten as a result.

EDIT
Remembering back a bit, my parents constantly talked about how "our internet lags a lot," but they haven't done jack all to change it.
I think they're unwilling to change. I'm still going to be just as consistent in asking to change ISPs though.

It's from a server I rent and it's located incorrectly, the testing server is in the same city.

Wow, are you still on Dial-up?
I feel sorry for you, you're getting worse internet service than I am.

You are getting what you paid for. You paid for 256kbps, you are getting 30kB/s. one kB (kilobyte) is equal to eight kb (kilobits). 32 times 8 is 256.
