Author Topic: What comes first the chicken or the egg?  (Read 4484 times)

Due to evolution, the chicken.

The egg can't be fertilized without a rooster and a hen, this is a handicappedly obvious question.

Quite obviously the chicken.

A chicken is required to produce an egg. It is presumed that eggs don't just randomly appear to start a race. We can determine that the chicken came into existence by its own means (not via eggs) and began to repopulate itself doing so.

Due to evolution, the chicken.
But could the evolved chicken as we know it have been hatched from a egg laid by the last evolution chicken version?

egg, chickens evolved from some kind of animal back in THA DAY brother, the egg produced the final version

once there was a bird.
then it laid an egg.
then what came out was a mutated version of the bird.
the mutated version we now call a chicken.

The egg, obviously came first

Could be either.

Is this really still a hot topic?

To finally answer the age old question... neither!
