Author Topic: 1GB of my RAM is playing Wheres Wally with me  (Read 1370 times)

So it seems that every time i start my computer, only 1Gb or so is actually free. Even when i close pretty much everything that im not using, it doesnt increase. Is there any possible way of getting this 1Gb back without resetting my whole computer?
I have done multiple virus scans and nothing has been found. I've used avast, superantispyware and microsoft security essentials. Nothing was found apart from a few tracking cookies.

You're sure? What OS are you using? Windows 7 64bit takes up quite amount of RAM.

Also, I don't HAVE any RAM.

What windows usually does is save that ram for applications that you use frequently, so it looks like its all being used up, when its not. Here, let me find the article.
