What's goin' on with the server? I'm not terribly up to date with this, aside from short conversations with mini_coaster at school and stuff...

Server crashed, does that mean I need to rebuild my tower?

No, you shouldn't have to.

Provided that the world didn't get corrupted and that you didn't build it just before it crashed, no.

what's in here?

oh, just old dusty machinery

Woo, 14 diamonds in one cave.

Also, I'm on, all alone :(

oh i'm sorry that we prefer a more optimized and stable version

Damn, didn't make it back to base before the restart.

Alright, everyone. I've built a new spawn room, and I've re-done the roads that were around. Previously there was a 2 block wide cobblestone path everywhere, so I have replaced that with a 3-wide gravel path, with glowstone built in every 9 blocks. Better bridges have been built to span those small gulleys along the path.

Houses are popping up, some of them look pretty nice!

Okay, sorry to triple-post here, but I've completely revamped the spawn town, and all paths leading away from the town are set up and properly labeled.

Everything else is untouched, right?

Yeah, I didn't mess with anyone's personal houses or anything. Just the public use facilities.

Wish I could help make a fancy spawn town.

Players are more than welcome to create their own cities and towns around the map, so go ahead and develop a town for yourself. I recommend you base it around a specific goal of the town, or a specific theme. That tends to draw more people, rather than "soooo this is a city. do whatever. yeah." although I know you're smarter than to do that.

If people start making towns/cities, we may set up a warping plugin in which an OP sets up various warp points and anyone can warp using /warp [city name/location]. I have to figure out what the name of that plugin was though...lol
