I was under the impression people left because of incessant griefing. Was I under the wrong impression?
Yes

It was the griefing, then starfishs seeing people calling for help and coming to do their own griefing whenever the admins left. Basically, it's that the Blockland community will never be mature enough to handle a game that can't efficiently implement/handle a trust system.

I also left because of the fact I went back to spawn just to see it pretty much giving new players EVERYTHING :s

What...uh, so we shouldn't provide community resources for public use? Like a furnace, workbench, and potions table? Those are just to get players started. To make a house, you still have to make all that stuff again, and I don't feel like the spawn gives players EVERYTHING.

Generally servers with more people are less fun. I enjoy a server more if it's 2-10 people and we all know each other to some extent. Our houses are more spread out making it possible for large farms, mines, mobs towers, anything a player would need sufficient space to build. On servers like your's, I saw nothing but houses for hundreds of blocks in every direction. And they were cramped.

I also noticed you had lockette. This is a fine mod to use on more populous servers, but it ... completely ruins the survival aspect of the game for me. I enjoy to have that constant fear of a player possibly wandering around and finding my loot, only to run off with it. This also contributes to the idea that more spread out homes are better.

Though, these are just my opinions. Other players enjoy servers that are set up like a metropolis and have iConomy installed, stuff like that. You still have a fine server Trifax. ;)

No, it makes you feel the need to come back in tension, making the experience of using the server less enjoyable, especially if something is actually taken.

I enjoy tension. 8)

You could get mini to change the map to a generated creative map. People like building, and I'm pretty sure it would get popular fast

Although as it is Creative, you'd have to assign people areas to build or else they'd just grief the forget out.

For anyone who may have been on the server, I apologize for my general inactivity in the past little while. Before mexico I was quite busy with holiday happenings, school, etc... and now I'm in Mexico where internet is total stuff. Keeps dropping connection on me.

can we restart the server? it really needs a restart

You crazy kids, always coming into the server, spoutin' vagina everywarez.

I just landed back in Seattle :| the server has gone to stuff, and it's clear nobody cares to be decent and make the server back into a good community.

What happened? I finally went back on earlier today, and my place was okay. In fact, I started a mineshaft from my house finally. What are you thinking of doing?
