Author Topic: Drophealth - Why the hell don't we have this?  (Read 930 times)

Blockland has only ONE item capable of healing other players.
The medigun.
So let's have another healing item.
This item is simple - It throws down a little object(like a spear) that heals 25-50 health when stood on, and has a small cooldown.
What the object's model is is a bit of a confusion, maybe there can be RTB prefs, 6 models avalible.
-Medkit
-Sandwich
-+ sign
-bandages
-Candy/sweet
-Steak
Prehaps, if possible, it could act like this:
Holding Primary fire for two seconds uses it on yourself. This does not consume the item: It just has to finish it's cooldown, like the TF2 sandvich. Pressing jet drops the item, but unlike the TF2 sandvich, You cannot drop it for an instant shot of health. Picking up your own Healing item will just refresh it's cooldown.

Such a simple item that NO-ONE MADE.

Can we have a playertype that heals over time to?
Might as well.

ALTERNATE MODE:
Hold primary fire for 2 seconds to use it on yourself. Press secondary fire to throw it:This version heals instantly, but you can't use this version on yourself.

My ideas are all over the place. Let me update the OP.

We have one.

I could make a script that lets you donate health from player to player with a /command. And for healing over time, look for Swollow's Tactical Player

You can also do this in spiral knights where when you press ATTACK you can give them half your health and they're revived but they have to press ATTACK to get up. (i hate that you have to press attack to get up why not automatically get up?)

Naa, I like the /command better.

I could make a item (with no model just your bare hand) that gives whoever your looking at health

I like the main suggestion more, but that works too, maybe an RTB pref where throwing it saps some of your health?


"Drophealth" sounds like it would drop health


Why would you want to throw down a sandwich and then walk on it to heal?
