That may have been put in place on purpose. Damn it grinds my gears. Squideey's textures are so nice!

I have custom textures working and the launcher doesn't seem to be effected in any negative way.

If badspot wishes to make an updated to his items/textures/etc, he cannot do so if the files have been modified already

Not talking about textures in general, were talking about how having custom textures ruins the launchers ability to download new data. By me getting the Brick_Halloween while having custom textures, I'm wondering if having custom textures ruins anything at all.

The only thing that makes it an issue is that if Badspot does edit any of the default brick textures, it won't be able to download them.  But he has said not to do it, so I don't.
