NMRiH is a Half Life 2 mod (Source SDK 2007, tf2 works as well.) that takes place in a zombie apocalypse.

The gameplay is somewhat realistic, limited ammo, iron sights, zombies don't run, etc.

This mod took 3 years to make and it looks like it was well worth it.

Thought it was going to be a L4D clone until I saw the "Multiple Career Branches" part. Then I saw them filling gas tanks and decided it was still a L4D clone.

L4D is so generic anything can be a clone of it. Only thing unique about L4D is the special infected.

I downloaded the mod and I have to say, it's very hard and boring, but my main problem with the game is the players themselves. Joined a server, punched a guy entering a door thinking he was a zombie, guy goes apestuff and kills me.
