Author Topic: In need of a new gaming mouse and headset  (Read 1122 times)

This is my current mouse and i really need a better one so i need suggestions.

I dont really have any price range but relatively cheap (under or 60Euros)

For the headset same deal. I dont have any headset at the moment as my old one broke :(

As for a headset, get a nice pair of headphones and buy a cheap clip on mic. When you buy a "gaming" headset, your money is spent on the word "gaming". When you buy headphones, your money is spent on sound quality. A separate mic should be ultra cheap.

I'm betting the answer is no, but do you actually get anything when your money goes towards "gaming"?

It's nothing more than a marketing term.

I dont really care if its "Gaming" headset or not mostly gonna use it to speak with my friends. Gamesounds dont really matter for me as i use my speakers if i want that.

Should i get a table mic with some headphones? i dont think any store around my area sells these clip ons mics.
Also any suggestion on what headphones?'

Edit: the mouse costs around 75 euros which is kinda too expensive for me to use

Yeah a desktop mic would be fine. I just said clip on cause it's easier. What's your price range?

I can get the mic for around 10euros so around 60euros for the mouse if i use my speakers instead of headphones

Sixty euros for a mouse, a mic, and a pair of headphones isn't really enough.

I mostly just need the mouse

get a corsair headset.
Corsair just started making headsets recently , but they are good.

I use a Logitech MX518 for my mouse and it is pretty good and didn't cost to much.

This, or maybe the G500, they're great.  Maybe you should check out Razer's Deathadder, I've heard good things about it.

using one of these right now, they're awesome. you can change the DPI whenever you want to, it glows blue, and there are 2 extra buttons on the side. all of the buttons are customizable when you download the drivers.

however it's right-handed only so don't buy it if you're a lefty
