Just trying to keep everything simple, although it may seem a little too simple. I want to keep steady progress towards releasing these animal packs so that they don't lose too much momentum and nearly die. We've seen happen to the bug, dragon, and Jurassic park mods. Of course in Army Guy's defense he has a really long to-do list and they're not all just playertypes, he has special tool/weapons and such.
If I could, I would have liked to make the animals more like the AI dog was; with it's good blocklander-like feel and animations. It's just that some of the animals would seem a bit awkward without legs, and I know I would end up trying to get the gait of each one just right, resulting in a lot more time spent on each animal. If I went that route I would probably still be working on the cows.
