A game where you are a captain of a space ship who can change effects of gravity on yourself. Your five crewmates are scattered about an odd dimension your ship teleported to after a teleporter malfunction. You have to find them, but there is an interference between the teleporters and you keep ending up in this odd greyscale/rainbow place. Scattered about the dimension, there are shiny objects that you collect and when you find twenty, you can teleport into a lab.

Why hasn't anyone done that before?

I had an idea for a game where you build stuff.

Oh, that's a great idea!

What about a game wherein the entire point is to use crayons to create objects and you roll a ball to a flag by drawing mechanisms and slopes and whatnot?

That would be awesome, and you could use pivots and junk!

How about a game where you create portal-like objects to get through puzzles?

Or one where you can freebuild with various Source engine objects?

Or one where you are trapped on a ring-world fighting aliens?

Or one where you build a fortress or town with dwarves?

Or one where you create a person and build them a house, add furniture, get a job, and do other cool stuff you would in real life; but better because it has expansions?

Or one in which two class-based teams of rad and blue are constantly trying to kill each other and create funny antics along the way?

Or one that allows you to build a zoo, populate it with extinct, endangered, marine, and common animals?

Or a sandbox game that revolves around the crimes of grand theft auto in order to complete missions?

The Old Republic but as an FPS and where you control stuff with the mouse, like aiming a gun and shooting or attacking with lightsaber instead of pressing buttons like boring generic. The lightsaber stuff could work kind of like the swords in Age of Chivalry or something. That's what I hoped for when I first heard of ToR, at least with guns, but I was disappoint.

What about a game where you can create and influence everything in the entire game world?

I've always wanted a game where you create a world (adjust how close/far it is from the sun, size, etc.) then watch it develop multiple species, and they eventually get more advanced and cities grow on your planet. Throughout the whole game you can zoom in and see all the animals herding and cities having wars, but you can also interact by casting meteor showers, creating earthquakes, and other neat stuff. Once your world has a space-faring civilization, it's game over and you can then do whatever the forget you want with your planet.

I'd like to create this game once I begin learning Java, but that's a long way off.

Sounds a bit like Spore, but more complex.

I'd play this.

I actually got the idea from Spore: Galactic Adventures. :D

I wish there was an accurate world simulation game.

Like, you have a planet. It's got realistic natural happenings, realistic behaviour of the organisms on it, and then you could walk around as a dude into buildings and stuff and have a job and have a life, really.

And you can be an astronaut and go into space and fly ships and go to other planets :D

Or an architect and make buildings!

Or create a fast-food restaurant chain that grosses millions!

This. A game exactly like life, but without fear of criticism for your actions.

An RPG with the old Bionicles holy stuff yes please.
I already have that game.

The Lost

Story and stuff
Set in the year 2910, you take the role of Samuel Bourbon, an eighteen year old whom is sent off to Midway, a city filled with space terrorists. You start out in your house, looking at objects with a dear memory. Saying goodbye to your family, you board upon the ship and meet soldiers, who some won't be seen again. A freak accident aboard the transfer ship drops you off in a faraway ruin, armed with only a low calibur laser rifle. You also carry a bracelet that is used to operate several machinery, update weapons (unlike most games, your ammunition will be used, not experience, as the bracelet has a slot that changes the atoms inside the metal into energy that can be converted onto weapons), can contact people, and can fire weak energy blasts. Along the way you learn that several ships have crashed due to a machine the terrorists have created to stall engines. Almost all of the soldiers that have came become traitors and runaways, and will attack you, along with terrorists. Your mission is to travel to the center of Midway, through the help of friendly soldiers, and money. After blowing up the machine at the basement of a skyscraper used as their main base, you contact a nearby transfer ship to land on the top of the main base. You and your comrades have a choice between saving prisoners or making a run for it. Nonetheless it will effect the ending. As you return home, a nearby flyby shows that terrorists have already come. The game ends when you reach the new terrorist's base at the city hall and you kill all of them. There are 4 endings. If you can find your house, you see it is in a wreck, with a few rooms ransacked. If you can find Sirhad Broklav hidden in the slums, the head of the terrorists, you have a fight, difficult depending on how well you have been updating your weapons. These are important factors deciding endings.

1. Worst ending - If you did not save the prisoners, you get this ending. It does not matter if you find your house or find Sirhad Broklav. You sit down, find a pistol, and off yourself.
2. Bad ending - If you save the prisoners but do not find your house or find Sirhad Broklav, after killing all the terrorists everyone raises their gun in cheers. You however, walk away alone. On your next playthrough traitors and runaways do no harm.
3. Good ending - If you save the prisoners, kill Sirhad Broklav, but do not find your house, after killing all the terrorists everyone raises their gun in cheers. Your past love interest has lived, along with a few others. The city is rebuilt to its glory, you are made a legend, and live the rest of your life with her. On your next playthrough your bracelet will requireless ammunition, and the traitors and the runaways will do no harm. In multiplayer mode your will receive new weapons.
4. Best ending - If you save the prisoners, kill Sirhad Broklav, and find your house, after killing all the terrorists everyone raises their guns in cheers. You see in the distance a large group of people walking torwards you. It's the military along with everyone with the city, including your past love interest, and your family. The city is rebuilt to its glory, you are made a legend, you become the newest general in the army, and you live the rest of your live in riches with your wife and your family. On your next playthrough your bracelet will now require even less ammunition, you start out with a high calibur laser machine gun that can be upgraded to the most strongest weapon in the game, and the traitors and runaways do no harm. In multiplayer mode you will receive new costumes and weapons.

Gameplay
With an overtheshoulder camera and upgradable weapons, gameplay is like Resident Evil, Fallout, Borderlands, and Dead Space combined. Your health and ammunition will be shown in a HUD as usual. Multiplayer has co-op and competitive, both online. Co-op will have the same story, as the second player will be Denton Grates, best friend of Samuel. The home event will be excluded, the Sirhad Broklav event will be mantedory, and the ending will always be the best ending. The perk to beating co-op is in the main gameplay, Denton will show up in a lot of events, and will give you spare ammunition afterwards. In competitive, you gain experience points depending on your gameplay. These will be used to buy weapons from the store.
