Author Topic: Crafted - A ripoff of Minecraft?  (Read 4392 times)

I just tried it out.

The controls are stuffty.

Other than that, it's nice.

I'd love to see a terraria port though

Same. My friend got it and it really is nice, the controls are just stuff.

I was thinking of getting it, but I guess I'd rather just wait for the official release. I really do like the idea of 2D Minecraft though.

Did the developer(s) credit Notch or the Mojang team?

They said it was inspired by MC.

Cool. :o

Ontopic: The creator should make minecarts, tracks, and two-joystick control, sort of like Call of Duty: Zombies for iOS.

So I look it up and saw nothing regarding Minecraft besides "A game inspired by Minecraft".

At least they gave credit. But if you ask me, at least 35% of the profit should go to Mojang and 15% to Apple.

I don't think it's a rip off, just an attempt at a 2D recreation.

But then again the creator said it was "inspired" by Minecraft, implying this game doesn't look EXACTLY like Minecraft so maybe he thought he was being original with this.

This IS a rip-off, but it's not illegal. I'm quite certain Minecraft holds no copyrights outside of their name. They really should. There are just TOO many rip-offs.

Calling it a rip-off is being gentle

You need to think on the bright side, folks.
Now, you can play Minecraft on the go!
