i have them and they handle bass VERY well, are comfortable, and they carry around easily. also they cover all spectrums of music very well.

I found the skullcandys, but they're my mom's apparently. So I'm still waiting on what to pick. Currently looking at klipsch s2.

If you are getting headphones rather than earbuds get a smaller kind
something that raps around the back of the head or the like.

I don't like over the ear headphones because I think they look silly. And they make rings around my ears if my hair is wet.

Maybe. I had some smaller ones but they ended up being pretty stuffty, they broke after a few days.
Still considering klipsch.

12 dollar JVC headphones at Wal-Mart. They're comfortable and provide great sound.

Go with Klipsch then. I have Klipsch Images (I forget which) but they have amazing bass and they're a quality pair of earbuds.
