My school is giving me a laptop. Update: page 2, I got it!

So about a week ago I visited my counselor about a schedule change and I just brought up at some point how I'd like to have a laptop to use in school, he tells me he'll look into it. Then today he pulls me aside during lunch and tells me that someone has donated a computer and they are going to give it to me. I don't know what kind of computer it is or the specs yet but I think it should be decent.

I can't see why they would donate a perfectly fast laptop and buy a new one if it's fast. Sorry.
But hey, laptops aren't really for gaming and are mostly for web and stuff on the run. Just so long as it's got more than a 1GHz CPU :D

I use my computer every day in school ._. it's so convenient to not have to write anything down when you can type the notes faster than the teacher is writing them on the board.
