Author Topic: Steam, this is the last loving straw; it's personal now.  (Read 7090 times)

Handling games on Steam can be easier since there are no discs to be lost, and they also don't get scratched. Plus they're always in stock, and usually cheaper.

If you took care of your stuff they wouldn't get lost, scratched or stolen. I still have a stuffload of games from the 90s I had since I was a kid in near perfect condition.

Also games can be removed from Steam at any time so one day you could have Rage and then the next day your copy of rage will be missing because the developer took it down.

I don't think ERSB matters AT ALL.

I know. :3

Another prime example of Lord Tony acting better than everyone else.

I'm not acting like I'm better than everyone else. How does taking care of your games show I am acting better than someone else?

Some of us are trying to help. But there's not really any other action to do except, I don't know, e-mail Gaben? Just calm down. I know something like this is an enrager gager and a reason not to be patient with them. Have you tried using the Steam forums with an alternate of some sort (if necessary) to help you out?

I haven't really thought of using the Steam forums, mainly because the community hasn't been very friendly to me before. Unless the Steam Forums are under a different username and password, I can't access those either.

I really hate taking out my anger on everybody else, but when the obvious is stated, it irritates me.

Once again, I emailed Gaben a while back. I haven't received a response, and don't really expect to.

yeah

someone's defiantly mad

No stuff.

Tony, I think it would be beneficial for everybody if you left the thread.

Well, I don't think there's anything else you can do. Do you think someone has already posted a solution in the Steam forums, as if someone has had this problem?

I don't know. I'll go check.

Steam doesn't have very great customer service. Maybe you should call them instead.

Once again, stating the obvious.

The forums are down for maintenance.

Before you flip the stuff on him--
Too late.

Well, I'm pretty sure he means contact Valve directly instead of Steam support.

Even a helpful comment will have someone flip the stuff on me.

Have you tried a helpful comment?

Already contacted VALVe directly. Once again, no reply.

This.

I told him to call them directly, how was that not helpful?

Already contacted VALVe directly. Once again, no reply.

They wouldn't ignore a damn call. That's bad for buisness. They can ignore you any chance they get online but directly on the phone and they will get a complaint from the Better Business Bureau
