Sue Steam for all of their dollars.

So this is your mom's fault, not Steam Support's.

Technically, both. My mom blocked the charge, then after I told her, immediately withdrew the chargeback. I reported so on the support page. Then the support technician tells me that he hasn't received a confirmation. My mom called again. The credit card company confirmed that the chargeback had been withdrawn. I reported so again to the support technician. Still claiming that he hasn't received a confirmation.

This is why I try to limit my purchase of downloadable games.

Yeah, real loving great, Tony. I totally give a damn.

so it was the MOTHER all along

See above please.

needs more

Yeah, once again, real loving great.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but can't you just directly run the games from the Steam directory...? If they're not Valve's, that is. I did when my account was suspended in '08 for them thinking I pirated HL2.

>12 year old
>over 300 dollars worth of steam games

Now how many of them are rated "T"

someone's mad

Anyways, I feel for you. I bought a steam game from a store (Fred Myers) and it took like two weeks to get it all confirmed and sorted out. Steam support isn't the best.

I don't think ERSB matters AT ALL.

Did I mention that some of them were gifted to me?

I'm still waiting for them to get back to me on my Lost Password issue.

Try emailing Gabe Newell. It's worth a shot.

Sue them. They'll settle.

How come you don't buy physical games over virtual?

Handling games on Steam can be easier since there are no discs to be lost, and they also don't get scratched. Plus they're always in stock, and usually cheaper.

I did. No response. Probably too busy eating Big Macs and counting his stacks of money.

I've considered it, but I'm not going to sue a multimillion dollar company over a game service account. I don't want to incur legal fees upon my family either.

Tony, just g-

THANK YOU.

Some of us are trying to help. But there's not really any other action to do except, I don't know, e-mail Gaben? Just calm down. I know something like this is an enrager gager and a reason not to be patient with them. Have you tried using the Steam forums with an alternate of some sort (if necessary) to help you out?
