Author Topic: Friends to Halo: Reach with me ;)  (Read 864 times)

Looking for some people to play reach with.
Its all I've got to do while I hold my self over for tomorrow and I'm a loner ever since I stopped playing my xbox for a year.
So I thought I'd see who all would wanna play.

As for my skills, I'm a decently good player, but I don't require that from you, preferable someone who is just fun to play with and to talk to.

Requirements:
Don't be an idiot. I've got enough of those people surrounding me.

What we can do.
Firefight - If we get enough people we can do custom firefight with a bunch of people, and have elites and spartans, stuff be all fun and yo! Also FF doubles.
Doubles - The most rage inducing gamemode I know.
Swat - I love the intensity, and I overall find it a fun gamemode.
Team Slayer - Good ol' Slayer.
Invasion - Sure.

Gamemodes I hate.
Grifball - Played it too much in Halo 3.
Big Team Battle - lets just say I'm not to BIG on it ;)
Team Snipers - Seems like alot of people who play this are elitists.
Multi Team - I just don't like the large array of teams.
Living Dead - Been doing this since Halo 2, not a fan anymore.

So hopefully I can find someone/some people that are fun to play with!

well

maybe this weekend

but that's it really

I challenge yo to a banshee dogfight, but youll have to wait until monday....

Problem is, I won't be playing halo after tomorrow.
I've got both Skyrim and Saints row the third Pre-Ordered, so I think I'll have something to keep me busy then ;)

I can't find the main Halo thread (if there even is one) so I might as well ask here.
How much would I end up spending at minimum on an Xbox 360 if all I was planning on doing with it is playing Halo? I don't particularly like playing on consoles but I wouldn't mind getting a system solely for the purpose of playing Halo games. Would I still need one of those big flashy hard drives or could I get by on just a used console and a memory card?

You could probably buy an Xbox off of Craigslist for like, 50 bucks minimum.

A memory card wouldn't be sufficient, they are only like 156 megabytes.

I hear you can use a USB drive to store data, would 2 gigs be enough?
Also how does Live work? I know there are default silver and paid-for gold, but what's the difference? Do I need gold to play multiplayer?

Yes, you need gold to play multiplayer. It's like 10 bucks a month or 60 a year.

2Gb would be enough for solely save files and stuff like that.
