I checked out the first episodes of four new spring anime that Crunchyroll has picked up. They are Majestic Prince, The Severing Crime Edge, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, and Attack on Titan. Majestic Prince is a simple comedic mecha anime about struggling mecha pilots, so far I'm liking it. The Severing Crime Edge was rather strange, it's a drama that feels like it's a comedy. It's about a boy who loves cutting hair and finds some girl who people call the Queen of Hair, who could never cut her hair before she met him. After her hair is cut, some kind of "game" starts and a whole bunch of killers are after them. I'll probably watch the next episode of it but it's pretty wacky so far. Gargantua on the Verdurous Planet is another mecha anime, so many mecha anime this season. This one is surprisingly good, the space battle scene was fantastically animated and the characters are pretty interesting so far. Attack on Titan is a horror/drama anime which is greatly animated with an interesting plot so far. Not sure if Attack on Titan will have a lot of character development but so far the premise is pretty interesting. What have you anime fans started watching this season?
