So is Gungrave any good?
« Last Edit: April 17, 2013, 10:22:06 AM by Harm94 »

gungrave is pretty good

series itself is basically a giant flashback, but probably explains the story better than the games do

binging on 1080p cowboy bebops tonight awww yiiiiis
tempted to livestream it or something so all the homeboys can enjoy

Oreimo is overrated and I hate the characters...but for some reason I like the show.
It can't just be character designs because Mashiroiro Symphony is pure stuff, even with its character designs. Might be the premise.
first season was OKAY for a little, then it just got kind of intolerable

true ending was bullstuff

So is Gungrave any good?
Gungrave is a great anime. The best parts are during the first half of the TV show. The 2nd half is still good but it gets a little bit annoying to watch giant zombies do the same things and a girl who whines a lot, who is a main character in the 2nd half of the TV show. But besides all that, it's a great anime. I enjoyed it all the way through, 5/5 stars.

I checked out the first episodes of four new spring anime that Crunchyroll has picked up. They are Majestic Prince, The Severing Crime Edge, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, and Attack on Titan. Majestic Prince is a simple comedic mecha anime about struggling mecha pilots, so far I'm liking it. The Severing Crime Edge was rather strange, it's a drama that feels like it's a comedy. It's about a boy who loves cutting hair and finds some girl who people call the Queen of Hair, who could never cut her hair before she met him. After her hair is cut, some kind of "game" starts and a whole bunch of killers are after them. I'll probably watch the next episode of it but it's pretty wacky so far. Gargantua on the Verdurous Planet is another mecha anime, so many mecha anime this season. This one is surprisingly good, the space battle scene was fantastically animated and the characters are pretty interesting so far. Attack on Titan is a horror/drama anime which is greatly animated with an interesting plot so far. Not sure if Attack on Titan will have a lot of character development but so far the premise is pretty interesting. What have you anime fans started watching this season?

I posted my thoughts some 10 pages ago....Majestic Prince is "meh" - the characters are kind of flat, and their designs are loving terrible. Anything with character designs by Hisashi Hirai usually has bad animation too, so there's that. Story is ok, mech designs are a ok.

Gargantia is really good.

Valvrave is...no idea yet. A lot wrong with the first episode, maybe today's episode will change my mind. Sunrise has forgeted up so many series in the past few years so I won't be surprised if this one turns out bad.

Anime in a nutshell.

Anime in a nutshell.
I MEAN REALLY. SHES WEARING A SKIRT ALL THE TIME TO.

I MEAN REALLY. SHES WEARING A SKIRT ALL THE TIME TO.

none of them are guys

they explicitly state this at the beginning of the series.

What anime is that?

Clannad

Just finished watching Freezing, it was pretty good IMO.
Sucks having to wait for the next season to air, especially after watching the promo for it.

Now the really tough and obvious choice, to start yet another anime or actually continue to watch one of the 21 that I am already watching.
I get the feeling I'm going to end up starting another anyway...

Just finished watching Samurai Champloo yesterday. It was a great anime and I loved the English dub but the ending felt a bit disappointing. Overall I give the show 5/5 stars.
