It's Samurai 7. It was based off of an old samurai movie "Seven Samurai"
It's 20 something episodes and it's pretty good.

I am fine with dubs. I usually prefer them over subs so I can enjoy the anime more without having to read text constantly. But sometimes dubs are terrible, if that is the case, it's better to watch the sub.

I agree. Right now, Kanon is my favorite conquest girl of the entire show. Her songs are so darn catchy. But Shiori comes in a very close second place.
