I just finished Attack on Titan! Man what an anime! Very exciting and the drama was superb. The action was excellent but sometimes the animations weren't on par with some of the better episodes. Besides the animation, the story pacing was a bit slow but the major plot points and overall story, made up for it. This anime also knew how to deliver lots and lots of cliffhangers. Epic cliffhangers at least. Pretty much all of the characters were interesting, and lots of things go on that kept you interested in those characters. Sometimes you wanted a bit of humor to give it a bit more life because it's pretty much non-stop drama though. All of the openings and the first ending, were great. Plus the music in all of the episodes were spot-on. The ending of the anime wasn't satisfying enough, it was pretty much a cliffhanger ending, so I can't wait for the 2nd season of this show. But according to some people who have posted on this topic, it could take a while until we get the 2nd season, so that's a bummer. It wasn't the best anime I have ever seen, but so far, it is the best new anime I've seen of this year imo. I give this anime, 5/5 stars. Definitely check it out if you haven't already.
