Also, I finished Shingeki no Kyojin yesterday. I hope I am not going to get killed by you guys when I say that I didn't like it as much as I expected it to. Expected more action but everything is sad and depressing at more often than not points in the series. Additionally, it tried too hard to open multiple gates for a second season, specially towards the ending episodes.

The "gates" for a second season have been in place for years; SnK is a long running manga series as well, and the end of the anime is pretty faithful to the manga.

It's a pretty average series IMO, the plot is quite interesting and unique, but apart from that the anime wasn't anything particularly special.

The animation. Probably the only reason why people liked it that much. The story was a good concept but it's like 50 chapters in and hasn't explained anything, just piling on more secrets and stuff.

The manga drawing is crappy but hey It's still worth reading every month or so.
