Author Topic: Anime and Manga Megathread  (Read 1445283 times)

Just came to the shocking revelation that 10-20 years from now all the shows we all watched and were known for being awesome (FMA, Toradora, TTGL, other cool popular stuff etc) will be history to anyone watching anime.
What will be the top animes of the future generations?
Probably moe stuff.
God damn moe stuff.

Can somebody tell me what moe stuff is. This term has been thrown around thousands of times in this thread and now I really want to know.

Pretty certain its a type of anime, for example Lucky Star.

Moe isn't a concept you can easily explain. It's something you understand eventually. Plenty of non-moe anime have characters that can be described as "moe" in some way.

Generally, people associate moe with something that brings out a sort of "protective instinct" and that's why they look at lolis and say "moe."
