The first season was awesome. It had great animation, interesting characters, and a decent story direction. The first episode alone was forgetin' crazy, but comprehensible. It was almost like a movie condensed to 25 minutes, but not in a bad way. Mechanical design was solid, they weren't god-mechs and the focus actually wasn't on them.

R2 was loving bad. Good characters were killed by bad characters (who shouldn't have existed) that died anyway, focus was put into unimportant side characters, and because of all the bullstuff the story direction was all over the place. The first episode of R2 was a massive excuse to plug Kallen fanservice. The absolute ending was the only good part, and even then it wasn't done as well as it could have been...like the entire second season.

After all that talk about the last episode of AoT I was expecting it to be like some sort of crazy dramatic event.
That was a bit disappointing. :/

attack on time

age of titan

Do Transformers count or do I need to be talking about the Japanese series(es)

I'm p sure this is a thread about japanime

The 1984 Transformers series was animated in Japan, and the toy line itself originated from Japan.

...you mean it wasn't?

are you even watching the right episode

to love ru... that's like the ecchi anime they tried to make serious right?

When it was WSJ, it was just random ecchi stuff with a liiiiittle bit of a plot in there. Darkness actually has a somewhat decent plot.

The plot for To Love-Ru Darkness for me is basicly: Make Rito the harem king.

Waiting for an episode release/manga chapter is annoying D: Also momo is one creepy lady...

It also deals a lot with Mea and Nemesis.

They both creep me out a lot

killing characters off isn't dramatic anymore, it's Victory Gundam levels of boring at this point.

that "fight" was pretty pathetic.

the end of the episode was yet again, a cliffhanger. and like killing characters, old as forget. no drama, just bullstuff.

No characters died in SnK 22 except for nameless soldier #893278.

it's like, are the writers even trying? why do people seriously still just gobble this up?
