It's universally accepted that the first game is utter crap. mk2 is a real big step-up in terms of gameplay and whatnot, but it still has low fps for what it is. Victory is a huge step up from both in terms of gameplay and how it runs.

Angel Beats is a strange series, but quite alluring. Think I'll be enjoying this one

The ending is dumb and the writing tanks at the last third of the series.

The special episode is great, though. Angel Beats is at its best when it's comedic, not when it's trying to be dramatic. At that point, it's just stupid.
