soon
I watched the supposed older one and, sure it sounds good but really I don't think it tried to stretch it extremely far on both sides. Like there are some scenes where I'd wish they'd grab an element from one franchise more prominently than the other, and that it'd shift. I think it was more of a Conan movie or something because I felt Lupin was being really played down. I think it's just because I set my expectations too high because I had just watched The Castle of Cagliostro, The Phantom of Baker Street, AND Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva before viewing that! I still think it was good, the different style of the respective characters from their series didn't take me out of the movie either, like "hey this new character seems to be from Gosho because of their eyes!" I didn't seem to notice, and maybe that's more of a nitpick.
I'll still definitely watch this one though. I'm looking at the poster and it seems to take place in a stadium of some sort.
