Anyone know what Hunter X Hunter is all about?
It's pretty swell, the only shonenlike anime I like.
Essentially a kid is looking for his dad who was a hunter (hunters are basically super strong people that deal with stuff like the crazy ass beasts and stuff) and goes to become a hunter and find his dad and you see all the cool powers and stuff they get throughout it.
I would suggest watching the original version and OVA series' as they have more detail and the characters are more badass, however the original cuts off. The remake is more cartoony and kiddy (not overly but more than the original) but it goes past where the original cuts off and is still airing, not to mention past the cut off is where it gets a lot more mature.
I mean I've watched both but its all up to you I guess.
Got to admit the remake usually has better animated fights though.
Way more badass in the original.
Kinda feel like watching the original again now.
