4kids intro swag
I still don't understand this. The 4kids intro(along with all the other garbage) is ridiculously bad. Like, everything about it is bad. I cannot comprehend how anyone could like that garbage at all.
Just recently started watching anime.
One Piece and Death Note to be specific.
Opinions on both/either?
One Piece starts out a bit boring, then it gets better and better, then around ep 500-ish it starts to get worse and worse. In my opinion, at least. But it got to the point where I quit the anime and just continued with the manga around ep 620 because they started to move at a really slow pace. Like:
One episode nowadays is around 23 minutes long.
-2 minutes 30 seconds for the intro.
-2-5 minutes for the "what happened last time" segment.
-30 seconds for the preview for the next episodes
This is a set standard for every episode. And then there's the useless bullstuff in between that one time dragged out for a total of 7 minutes, leaving about 7 minutes of actual content. And that content wasn't even anything new, so I successfully had wasted 23 minutes of my time.
