OK so I accidentally clicked on episode 12 and watched it to the credits wondering wtf was going on because all this stuff already happened.

On a related note when I watched TTGL I unintentionally skipped over episode 8 and didn't realize it until the end

I thought it was some weird artistic choice to just kind of kill Kamina quickly and mostly off-screen at the beginning of episode 9 so I didn't question it much.


edit:

Figured out why I probably mistakenly rewatched episode 12. For some reason it was half watched in my queue and was paused on a close up of Gamagori's face which is also what the preview image for episode 13 is.
