and as for "jou," like I said, the "j" in several languages sounds like english "y"
for example sarajevo, which is a city... somewhere, is pronounced "sarah-yay-voh"

Fair enough. Personally I do pronounce the beginning as nich-ee, wasn't sure how to really put it out when I first said it
