No. Hamatora is irredeemably stuff. There's absolutely no comparison to Watamote. Not just from genre, either.

There are shows where you can point out things where you say "I can see other people finding that entertaining, but I don't" and there are shows where you say "that was completely loving terrible and nobody with a brain can actually like that stuff because it makes no goddamn sense". Hamatora is the latter.
