It looks like ragyo probably because ryuko's dad aka ragyo's husband designed it.

But why would he want to be reminded of the women who tried to kill his daughter and experimented on his older daughter? Also, they probably let her test it because they have to have some type of resistance to Life Fibers. If she was even DNA related to Ryuko's that would also mean she would be able to talk to Senketsu and perfectly wear him and not die,  because Dr.Matoi used part of Ryuko's DNA along with some life fibers to create him.

She died probably because senketsu was incomplete and unstable. She has to be related to ryuko in some way, because her brother was able to hear senketsu talk.
