I just started watching tokyo ghoul...and holy stuff...it is great so far!

Ume Aoki (character designer for Madoka Magica, creator of Hidamari Sketch) tried drawing with a mouse because her tablet pen broke.

Even the best of us loving suffer when the mouse has to come into play.

omfg, the tokyo ghoul op is so good!

man you've got some shallow forgetin' tastes
...there's probably a love joke in there somewhere but that's not what I was going for.
no, did you look at him?? his face?? and hear his voice??? his voice was the best part. but the american counterpart for it is TERRIBLE
he was less attractive in fairy mode though

SPOILERS for SAO ahead
So my friend showed me the first episode of Sword Art Online and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Im not much of an anime guy, ive only watched like 2 series, but the first episode to SAO looked like it was going to be my favorite. Anyway the next day I decided to start watching the rest of the series. The first 2 episodes were great, it looked like it was setting up to be epic and the fact that it was inside a video game made it more enjoyable for me. The next few episodes were kind of odd because it kept jumping ahead in the timeline and it kind of lost me, but it was still pretty good. After that I started following it better, and I was really getting into it, until around episode 14 or 15. I liked the whole "if you die in the game, you die in real life" aspect of it, it made everything feel more tense and it made sense for the people to take the game seriously, but then it switched over to this new game where it didnt matter if you die you just respawn after a while, and it felt weird watching it because people were super serious about everything but it was just a video game, it didnt matter if they died and stuff. Anyway aside from that the thing that really made me start to lose interest was the whole incest thing going on with his sister, it really made it awkward to watch. I wish they would have had somebody else, like maybe it was his ex girlfriend that he meets and they get close and then they find out and it creates a bunch of drama, I would much rather watch that instead of his younger sister or "cousin" go through this whole awkward love thing with his brother or "cousin." Anyway I started to lose interest in the series, then there was that tentacle thing with that one chick and that was weird and by the end of the series i was just like "meh." Anyway I kind of felt like ranting about this because why not, apparently season 2 just started, I might watch it later after it finishes or when a dub is released, but im not really that excited.

tl;dr Sword Art Online was really cool for 14 episodes then it started to get weird and by the end I was uninterested 10/10 its ok - IGN

I was kinda surprised that they never made the two siblings clarify who was actually the adopted cousin. that seems like something they'd do to add some drama, but it never happened :v

holy stuff

i feel better about myself now, lol

generic protagonist sameface/hair. already tired of his voice actor from several other series. he played a much better character in Buddy Complex.

actually, now that I think about it, Aoba was pretty much a not annoyingly stupid version of Kirito.

also reposting this because I was too proud of it

I love the feeling when I watch an anime and then I finally see where a couple more people's avatars are from. It's like a weird feeling of accomplishment.

so far I've only had that with the klk avatars :(

don't even get me started on all the totally untouched things that could have potentially made things good
