I was unsure whether to watch Azumanga Daioh or Nichijou since they're both very similar but after seeing the first few minutes of AD + the opening.... eugh.

one piece anime is now complete stuff compared to the manga. it's almost like they're just thinking "oh it's already popular enough so let's just stop putting any effort in it at all"

dressrosa arc is great but they're loving it up bad in the anime.

Yes it is. There are hundreds of episodes and they are trying to crank out as many episodes as quickly as they can. They try to animate as little as possible to cut costs and save time. They also have to produce a lot of filler in anime adaptations as to not catchup to the manga series. They have many different animation teams working on separate episodes which leads to inconsistencies in quality and style from episode to episode. The animators are just generally overworked and on a very tight schedule. And most importantly One Piece sucks to begin with.
