Ok I have a really stupid question. I've always wondered this, but didn't want to ask. When an anime title is, "something x something," is the "x" read out? Is it "Hunter ecks Hunter" or "Hunter Hunter"? I've heard it read both ways, so I have no idea.

the x is pronounced with a dry heave

"hunter EHUhgh hunter"

the X actually denotes the phrase "yakkity yak don't talk back"

Depends on the title. Street Fighter x Tekken is read as "Street Fighter cross Tekken" but High School DxD and Inu x Boku have it silenced.

Nobuya Narita from French Bread asked "who would buy an Orie or Vatista dakimakura?" as a serious question.

As in he seriously doubted that anyone would.

I actually always read that as "something times something".

I say the x in "Hunter x Hunter" but in the episode titles I just ignore it
