finished a rewatch (ok i binged it) about two weeks ago and damn that anime is really real. people being jealous of other's with skills, and sometimes nobody - talented or not - has things go their way. it's very endearing.

I hate to say this but im the same way. I find it hard to watch 80-early 2000s shows because of the artstyle. I will still most likely watch Cowboy bebop someday though.
