Author Topic: Ichverbot - Alt of Iban?  (Read 48556 times)

What was the point of bumping this topic? Hes already been banned.
Was an accidental bump.

...Wow.
Not to bump or anything, but wow.
I think I have a few things I would like to say, thought I'm probably in no position to say it.

Why is everyone hating on Iban? He's what I think is a generally good person. Treat him well, he treats you well. Respect him, he will respect you. But if you be a general idiot to him, he'll return it. At least he seems to use logic in his posts, uses actual facts and ideas. I've seen other posts by you people here that don't like him, and use seemingly outlandish generalizations and obfuscate the real point of his anger: you got mad at him, too. You people that are mad a Iban take his words toward you personally, but that's only because of what you said to him.

In my opinion, if you talk bad about someone, then you should be expected to be talked back to and not whine about it and take it personally.

If someone were to talk about me, say I was wrong or said something dumb, I would accept their criticism, and then respond with a well-thought grouping of ideas and accusations. (Well, usually, sometimes I just feel like being a general troll. We all have these kind of days, I'm sure.)

So, really. Why are you taking it personally? Iban is just responding honestly and with logic to what you people say to him.

And this whole situation between Iban. bj-whatever, and that other one, even if Iban did do all those things you said, or if he didn't (I don't think he did, simply because the others in said argument sound like idiots), none of that matters because he doesn't care.

Oh well, I guess all of this is for moot; Iban was banned again because people, again, took everything too literal and personally, and instead of being smart about it and talking it out and coming up with non-idiotic ideas, I just see more feces being spewed out.

I think Iban was a good person, and meant well. But when you attack people because they speak truth, I think it's a good thing to handle the situation like Iban does: logically, iterating through each proposed argument and coming up with a valid counterargument.

I think we could all learn a thing from him. He will be missed (by me, at least).

he's a twat

he's a twat
If you mean Iban, then my point is pretty much proven.
If you mean me, probably because I don't hate on Iban, then ok.

I mean iban, and if you think that proves your point then good for you. He's a twat and got banned not even a week after he returned. He goes out of his way to stir stuff and that's what was the end of him (again).

If you say "what's wrong with Iban" you're either an even bigger tool than he is, an idiot or you weren't here for the 3-4 previous accounts he's had.

Really, he stirs stuff when other people stir stuff.
If people would treat him better, he wouldn't be a friend to everyone because everyone is a friend to him.
I guess I'm agreeing with him because I think like him, and would respond similarly in many situations.

Part of the reason is, because of everyone hating on him from past events, and the fact that he refuses to stand down for anyone for any reason (unless he sees that he is wrong, which he did twice in this thread, and for good reason, so don't pull that card), he gets hated on MORE.
Unfortunately it's an infinite cycle of events, and will never end unless he creates an alt and doesn't tell anyone his true identity.

But what are the chances of that?

I didn't really mean it like that. What I really wonder is why everyone has a problem with him and why everyone in the world (not just this forum) takes so much personally.
And, by the way, I have been around for a while, though I don't play many games much anymore. I knew about a few of his other accounts, though I had no idea that Ibanx existed :u

Actually, I don't even remember how I got here.
>_>

Oh I guess you're right. Being a friend in response to friendry is a mature and civil response, we should be praising iban for his levelheadedness and civility.

No. Stop it.

Wouldn't you?
And I didn't say we should be praising him, just saying that instead of just typing out lots of fabrications and, as I have seen, lots of out-of-proportion opinions, we should think about what we type.

He got banned for a reason

He got banned for a reason
Yeah, I read that.
He was being a pretty big nuisance. I would of taken the situation a little differently (well, if I were him and I felt such a concentration of hate for said person(s), then maybe I wouldn't).
But still, my statement still stands. Not just about Iban but about all of us.

He's behaved on this account.
Put the past behind you and stop bringing it up.
