Author Topic: Hawf draws stuff  (Read 129507 times)

At the risk of hi-jacking this thread into an argument (which I really, really don't want to do), calling these things "doodles" is a gross understatement.

I'm not sure what you meant by "a little too into", but I can only assume you're referring to tommy's rebuttals, to which I say that he's simply defending his work against a bunch of people who have no respect for art.

so much this.

Have you made any pencil drawings? I assume they will look great

I don't care what anyone thinks of my art.
then why the hell are you posting it here. the only reason you post art on a forum is to receive feedback.

obviously you DO care what people think of your art - as long as they praise it. as soon as they say they dislike something you get all pissy.
your ego is in need of some serious deflating.

Sharp, but I thought of that myself too.

I don't care what anyone thinks of my art.
I ESSPECIALLY will not take any stuff from the Blockland community of all things.
Frankly this whole place has been dead to me since 2009
Then why the forget are you posting here.

I really like your art, especially the watercolor but posting your art here, you know people are going to give out their opinions and criticize your art, stuffty example or not. That doesn't give you a good enough reason to yell at anyone that is giving out a good example of what could be checked on. Your art school should have already taught you this or you should already have enough common sense to already realize this.

I never said I wasn't open to criticism
I simply said I was making another outlet for my art, just a place to put it.

when I got pissy at people it was because of WHAT I was drawing, and I don't like people telling me what I should and shouldn't draw. My skills, My choice that's all.
the only thing that has been critCIAed is the SUBJECT MATTER
Quote
Definition: Subject matter is what something is about.
In artwork, the subject matter would be what the artist has chosen to paint, draw or sculpt. In patent law, the subject matter would be the technical content of a patent or patent application found in the description, claims and drawings.

In other words, subject matter is what the inventor has choosen to invent, and in a patent application the inventor must reveal the subject matter (invention) in a way dictated by law.
Not the actual drawing itself
If anyone happens to point out any flaws in the art itself I'll gladly take them into account.

The astronaut one made me fall in love <3

I don't care what anyone thinks of my art.

Talking like THIS makes me seem more IMPORTANT although really I'm NOT. I also like to disregard points, either that or I'm too stupid to understand them.

This seems like a fine representation of bringing a kindergarten class to an art museum.

Subject matter and art style are quite different so just because you don't like what he draws, specifically the ponies, doesn't mean it's bad. Honestly this is some or the best art in creativity, and I don't say that because he's my brother.

Sure he overreacts to people but why would you guys go to creativity to bash stuff when this subforum is almost the same as the gallery.
