Could this work?

Of course.
Yes, but it'd take a while.
Not without bugs.
Nope.

Yes, "Goddammit another of your stupid ideas."

Well hold your horses and bronies.

Basically what I want and I'm sure several other people would want some too, are some new boats.

I think bots would be easier, But my idea involves:
1. When a player mounts a boat (Bot type), Their datablock is changed to something with a slow turn-speed (Turning with the mouse, not like, A+D)
2. While you're in the boat, Turning is slower because of the datablock, to make it feel like you're actually in a boat, Whereas with the rowboat addon, you can turn instantly, and you feel like you're just kindof hovering on air.
3. When you get out of the boat, Your datablock is changed to the previous one/The one you had before entering the boat.

Conversation between me and a pal below for those that didn't understand that ^^^

Alxetora~: Nobody has released a boat
Alxetora~: for like
Alxetora~: A year.
Alxetora~: maybe a year and a half.
Kiwibær: cause boats don't work well
Kiwibær: unless they're bots
Kiwibær: and then they look stupid
Alxetora~: GSF made some that semi-worked but yeah why wo- Idea
Alxetora~: Is it possible to slow down the turn speed on a bot
Alxetora~: Bot + Water = Already has bubbles when it moves, no need to add emmitter.
Kiwibær: no because the turn speed on a bot thats controlled by a player is the same as a player
Alxetora~: Bot + Low turnspe- dammit fail.
Kiwibær: the only way that would work would be
Kiwibær: auto-adjusting a players like
Kiwibær: sensitivity
Alxetora~: What about mounting the bot changes the datablock to something with a slow-to-turn playertype
Alxetora~: And getting out changes it back to the previous playertype.

Sounds like a nice idea. although with the whole datablock changing, that sounds tricky.

Apply player's current datablock to a variable, when they exit, apply the variable to the player.
