None of you have really read up on what Windows 8 is going to be.  It's actually going to be a lot loving better, believe it or not.  You're also not forced to use the Metro UI, it's included by default because Windows 8 will be supporting the use of ARM Microprocessors.  Basically the same version of Windows running on your desktop can be run on your phone, and without dumbing down its usability.

I don't know why you guys are really stuffting yourselves over it.  It's going to have a lot more nice features like the ability to wipe your system except for settings/etc. without needing an installation disc, a better task manager, flexibility, all that nice stuff.
